God of new life,
You are present in each day,
loving every creature beyond measure,
redeeming the world through your risen Son,
and breathing new life into us through your Spirit.
Even when darkness closes in,
we see your glowing light,
encouraging us, warming us.
God, we seek your presence.
Even when we are lost,
you remain with us,
holding us, loving us.
God, we seek your guidance.
Even when we don’t understand,
you are faithful to us,
keeping us, transforming us.
God, we seek your wisdom.
Forgive us when we turn from the light.
Forgive us when we lose our way.
Forgive us when we rely on our own understanding rather than your wisdom.
Gracious God, we thank you for your forgiveness.
