Prayer (3rd Sunday after Pentecost)

P

God of all creation:
of each human life, each sparrow, each plant.
You are the source of all that is
and yet you care deeply about each one of us,
counting the hairs upon our head.

God of all we are,
dwell in our hearts and reveal your truths to us,
share with us your wisdom so we may know and understand.
With our limited view of the world,
we are aware of our own narrow-mindedness,
our lack of understanding for others journeys in life.

Forgive us when we close our minds to deeper understandings.
We know that when we confess with open hearts, we are forgiven.
Thanks be to God.
Amen.
