Terms of Sale, Delivery and Returns

Last updated: 28th November 2025

1. About Holyvity

Holyvity is a small, creative business offering resources and products shaped by an inclusive, justice-seeking Christian faith.

Holyvity is run by Gary Hopkins, trading as Holyvity, of Old Bakery, Shop Lane, SY4 4RB.

You can contact us at sales@holyvity.com.

These Terms of Sale explain how we supply products to you when you order from https://www.holyvity.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Our products and print-on-demand

Most Holyvity products are print-on-demand, which means:

  • Items are made to order when you purchase them.
  • Small variations in colour, placement or finish can happen as part of normal printing.
  • Images and mock-ups on the website are for illustration; actual products may differ slightly.

If we ever offer personalised products in future (for example, items printed with your own wording or images), this will be clearly stated on the product page.

3. Ordering and our contract with you

  • When you place an order, you’ll see an on-screen confirmation and receive an order confirmation email.
  • A contract is formed between you and us when we send that confirmation email.
  • If we’re unable to accept your order (for example because of a pricing error or an issue with our print partner), we’ll let you know and refund any payment you’ve already made.

Please check your order details carefully before you submit them – especially sizes, designs and delivery address.

4. Prices, payment and taxes

  • All prices on the website are in GBP £ and include any applicable taxes.
  • Unless we clearly say otherwise, delivery is included in the price – there are no extra postage charges added at checkout.
  • We accept payment by our chosen payment providers (for example, card payments or PayPal, where offered).
  • Your payment details are processed securely by those providers; we do not store your full card details.

We do our best to ensure prices and information are accurate. If we discover an error in the price of products you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you and give you the choice to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery

Because our products are printed to order, delivery can take a little longer than large, mass-produced retailers.

  • Typical timescale from order to delivery is around 7–10 working days within the UK.
  • These timescales are estimates, not guarantees; delays can happen, especially at busy times or because of courier issues.
  • We currently deliver to UK addresses only. If we cannot deliver to your address, we’ll let you know and refund your order.

Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.

6. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

If you are a consumer buying online, you usually have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day after you receive your order, during which you can change your mind and cancel without giving a reason.

This right does not apply to goods that are made to your own specifications or clearly personalised (for example, where you have asked us to print your own wording or image). If a product is non-returnable for this reason, we will make that clear on the product page.

To cancel under the cooling-off rules:

  1. Email us at sales@holyvity.com within 14 days of receiving your order and tell us you wish to cancel.
  2. Send the items back to us within a further 14 days. Please contact us first so we can confirm the correct returns address and process.

Unless the item is faulty or we’ve sent the wrong thing:

  • You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
  • Please pack them carefully so they reach us in good condition.
  • We may make a reasonable deduction from your refund if the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to check them (for example, if clothing has been worn or washed).

Once we receive the returned items, we’ll refund what you paid for the products using your original payment method. Our prices include standard UK delivery, so your refund will be for the full amount you originally paid for those items.

We will process refunds as quickly as we can and within 14 days of receiving the goods back.

7. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

We want you to be happy with your Holyvity order. If something isn’t right, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@holyvity.com
with:

  • Your order number
  • A short description of the problem
  • Photographs of any damage or printing errors

If possible, we ask that you get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order so we can put things right quickly. Your legal rights may allow a longer period to claim a remedy for faulty goods.

Where an item is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, you have a right to a repair, replacement or refund. In practice, we will usually:

  • Arrange a replacement at no extra cost; or
  • Offer a refund, including any standard delivery charges you originally paid.

If we need the item back, we’ll let you know the returns process and we’ll cover any reasonable return postage costs for faulty or incorrect items.

8. Summary of returns

If you change your mind (non-personalised items):

  • Tell us within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • Return the items in their original condition within a further 14 days.
  • You pay the return postage.
  • We refund the amount you paid for the products (our prices already include standard UK delivery).

If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect:

  • Contact us as soon as you can, ideally within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • We’ll offer a replacement or refund.
  • If a return is needed, we’ll cover reasonable return postage.

This policy sits alongside and does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Using Holyvity designs

All Holyvity designs, text and images are protected by copyright.

When you buy a product, you have the right to use that item – for example:

  • Wear the clothing
  • Send the cards
  • Display the prints

This does not give you permission to reproduce the design or text on other products, in publications, or in digital media without our consent.

If you’d like to use Holyvity artwork or words in church resources, publications or other projects, please contact us to discuss permissions and licensing.

10. Our responsibility to you

We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for:

  • Any business-related loss (for example, loss of profit, loss of business, or business interruption).
  • Delays or failures caused by events outside our control (for example, postal strikes, severe weather, or problems with our print partners), although we will always do our best to keep you informed and to put things right fairly.

Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how we work. The version that applies to your order is the one in force at the time you placed it.

We’ll show the date of the latest update at the top of this page.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes about them can be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
